Quick answer
- Hajj 2027 is expected around 14–19 May 2027. The exact dates depend on the moon sighting.
- Overseas Pakistanis can register with Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA). Registration opened on 22 June 2026, it is free, and it is mandatory for overseas Pakistanis too.
- UK pilgrims in the Saudi Direct Hajj Programme book through Nusuk Hajj. Official 2027 dates have not been announced. Registration is expected around late October to November 2026.
- Registration is not a confirmed Hajj place. Verification, approval and package booking come after it.
If you are a Pakistani living in the UK, Hajj registration can feel confusing. Pakistan has its own system. The UK has another one, run through Saudi Arabia’s Nusuk Hajj platform. Which one you use depends mostly on your passport and where you live. This guide explains both in simple steps.
Please noteHajj rules are set by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and by Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs. They can change. This guide is accurate as of 2 October 2026. Always confirm the latest details on the official portals.
Which Hajj 2027 registration route applies to you?
There is no single answer for every overseas Pakistani. Use this table as a starting point.
| Your situation | Main route | First step |
|---|---|---|
| Pakistani passport, living in the UK | Pakistan MoRA registration | Register on the MoRA Hajj portal with your Pakistani passport details |
| British passport (including people of Pakistani origin) | Nusuk Hajj (UK Direct Hajj Programme) | Prepare your passport, photo and documents, then register when Nusuk opens |
| Both passports, or you are not sure | Depends on your case | Ask before you register, because the passport you register with matters |
This is a guide, not an official ruling. If you are unsure, talk to the Tawaf Global team before you submit anything.
Route 1: Register with Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs
Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony opened Hajj 2027 registration on 22 June 2026. The ministry said overseas Pakistanis planning to perform Hajj must also register. Here is what has been announced:
- Registration is online, through the ministry’s official portal at hajj.mora.gov.pk.
- There is no registration fee.
- The ministry advised applicants to form groups of family members only.
- Only registered people will be allowed to book Hajj 2027.
- After registration, applicants can choose between the government scheme and private Hajj operators.
- Package costs and booking terms are announced under the Hajj Policy. Booking has been described as first come, first served until the quota is full.
How to register, step by step
- Get your documents readyKeep your Pakistani passport, your CNIC or NICOP, and a recent photo ready. Overseas Pakistanis are asked to register with their Pakistani passport.
- Open the official portalGo to hajj.mora.gov.pk. Do not use a copy of the site or a link sent on social media.
- Add your details and your family groupEnter your details carefully. Only add real family members to your group.
- Check your passport dateThe ministry has said your passport should stay valid until at least November 2027. Check the exact date on the portal, as statements have varied.
- Save your confirmationKeep your registration details safe. You will need them for the next stage.
Route 2: Register through Nusuk Hajj from the UK
The UK is part of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s Direct Hajj Programme. This means UK pilgrims in the programme book their Hajj package and visa through Nusuk Hajj, the official Saudi platform. Nusuk Hajj is different from the Nusuk app that many people use for Umrah.
The Saudi authorities have not yet announced official Hajj 2027 registration dates. In earlier years, registration opened in the autumn. Many UK sources expect it to open around late October to November 2026, but this is only an expectation. Watch the official platform. Our Nusuk app guide explains the platform in more detail.
How the process usually works
- Create your Nusuk Hajj accountUse your passport details exactly as they appear in your passport.
- Complete verificationUpload your documents and photo. Registration alone does not guarantee a place. Your application must be verified and approved first.
- Choose a packageBrowse packages from authorised providers and choose the one that fits your budget and needs. Our guide to Hajj Maktab A, B and C explains the main categories.
- Pay through the platformPayments are made through the official system, using your e-wallet.
- Receive your Hajj visa and permitYour Hajj visa is arranged through the Nusuk process. It is not the same as a tourist visa.
Register every family member individually. Registering one person does not register the whole group.

Documents to prepare for Hajj 2027
Start gathering these now. Missing or unclear documents are a common reason for delays.
- A valid passport. It should stay valid for at least six months after your return. For Pakistan’s MoRA route, the ministry has said it must be valid until at least November 2027.
- A recent passport-style photo. Follow the photo rules on the portal.
- Your CNIC or NICOP, if you are registering with Pakistan’s MoRA.
- Proof of UK residence, such as a BRP, ILR letter or UK ID, if the portal asks for it.
- Meningitis ACWY vaccination certificate. This is a standard Hajj requirement.
- Polio vaccination certificate. Pakistani nationals are generally asked to show this. Check the current official health rules before you travel.
- Family details, if you are registering a group. Names must match each passport.

Common Hajj registration mistakes to avoid
- Thinking registration means a confirmed place. It is only the first step.
- Registering only one family member on Nusuk Hajj.
- Using the wrong passport for the route you chose.
- Waiting too long to check your passport date. A short validity can stop your application.
- Paying unofficial sellers. UK Hajj packages and visas must come through Nusuk Hajj. Be careful of social media sellers and private deals that promise a guaranteed place.
- Waiting for final prices before you prepare. Prices and deadlines can be announced late, so prepare your documents early.
